About Jonathan Clayborne

Jonathan Clayborne became a writer by folly and remained one by force of will. He was an award-winning newspaper editor and reporter. He is a director of plays and films. Films he has written and directed have enjoyed viral success online, and have been screened at festivals from Canada to Kill Devil Hills. He has authored two books: “Ten Dollars and a Zippo,” a collection of poems; and a novel, “The Rich Widow Blues.” He is the host and one of the organizers of Carnival of Darkness: The Haunted Pamlico Film Festival.
